CCDC is a community of families and educators who appreciate the essential nature of early childhood and nurture the uniqueness of every child. Guided by “The CCDC Way” and in accordance with the highest standards in early care and education, we emphasize active, interactive learning with a playful approach. Experiences are developmentally relevant, individually considerate, and culturally responsive. All relationships are grounded in respect, understanding, and belonging. Each person’s identity is celebrated, and all are welcome.

CCDC is conveniently located in Westport, Connecticut in a former elementary school facility on seven acres of property. We are open twelve months a year from 7:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. We enroll sixty-three children in five different programs. Families can choose from a 3-day part-time or 5-day full time schedule.

Our organization is a non-profit and governed by a Board of Directors representing current families, staff and members of the community. We embrace a philosophy that is child and family centered. Our curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate.
