Children With Special Education, Learning or Health Care needs

At CCDC, children are our ‘clients’ - we care for them with the deepest respect, giving them opportunities to love who they are and thrive everyday

CCDC is committed to an atmosphere of full inclusion for children with special needs, developmental delays and disabilities.  Our staff work with families and designated early intervention professionals to carry out the goals and objectives outlined in each child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) to encourage appropriate participation in all areas of the curriculum and school community.

Special health care plans are developed in consultation with the CCDC Nurse and with direction from the child’s pediatrician or medical specialist for children with chronic health conditions such as severe food allergies or asthma.  Parents are required to inform staff of any health conditions that require special plans and provide the medication and authorization as required by our policies.
